"Rolling Out" ^_^

Hey guys, been along time, huh?! Well, I'm quite limiting my "additional" online hours lately so I wasnt able to post something significant (you can call it an excuse, okay.. haha.. maybe, I'm being poke *again* by my boredom or laziness to do so.. harhar) :P

But I just cant sleep as of the moment so I went blog hopping to my favorite blogs. Wohoo! And when I got through The Critic's Choice page, I just got so excited and of course, Happy.. that I found something I can post... not just for the sake of updates.. I'm not really into it.. just want to post something if there is anything that would hit or interest me. And this is it:

OPTIMUS PRIME
Take the Transformers Quiz

Optimus Prime

Optimus Prime is the heroic leader of the Autobots. He is the personification of courage, strength, and integrity. His personal motto is that “Freedom is the right of all sentient beings.”

Like Optimus Prime, you are good by nature. But beware because mischievous thoughts sometimes tempt you. You are inspiring, confident, and a natural leader. The Autobots have chosen well. In addition, you use technology when you need to, but you do not embrace the latest trends.

Thanks Rod! :D

History Mystery...

The following information had actually caught my curiosity. Whether they were true or not (which I intend to research further...), these things really hold some interesting stuffs or even those with historical importance... I dont know if these things had been posted from a long time ago or maybe I had just been long way left behind.. hahaha.. Oh well, just check these out:

Are these things just a coincidence?

Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846.
John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946.

Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860.
John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960.

Both were particularly concerned with civil rights.
Both wives lost their children while living in the White House.

Both Presidents were shot on a Friday.
Both Presidents were shot in the head.

Now it gets really weird.

Lincoln 's secretary was named Kennedy.
Kennedy's Secretary was named Lincoln .

Both were assassinated by Southerners.
Both were succeeded by Southerners named Johnson.

Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln , was born in 1808.
Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908.

John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln, was born in 1839.
Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born in 1939.

Both assassins were known by their three names.
Both names are composed of fifteen letters.

Now hang on to your seat.

Lincoln was shot at the theater named 'Ford'.
Kennedy was shot in a car called ' Lincoln ' made by 'Ford'.

Lincoln was shot in a theater and his assassin ran and hid in a warehouse.
Kennedy was shot from a warehouse and his assassin ran and hid in a theater.

Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials.

And here's the kicker...

A week before Lincoln was shot, he was in Monroe , Maryland
A week before Kennedy was shot, he was with Marilyn Monroe.

Hey, this is one history lesson most people probably will not mind reading!

I Can Only Imagine

(Mercy Me)

I can only imagine
What it will be like,
When I walk by Your side

I can only imagine,
What my eyes will see,
When Your Face is before me

I can only imagine
Yeah

Surrounded by Your Glory,
What will my heart feel
Will I dance for you, Jesus
Or in awe of You, be still
Will I stand in Your presence
Or to my knees will I fall
Will I sing "Hallelujah"
Will I be able to speak at all
I can only imagine
I can only imagine

I can only imagine
When that day comes,
And I find myself standing in the Sun
I can only imagine
When all I will do is forever, forever worship You
I can only imagine
Yeah I can only imagine

Mending A Broken Promise

yeah.. promises are made to be broken though they should be done as said.. haaaayz... just so easy to promise something in a spur-of-the-moment especially if you're caught off-guarded... but one way or another.. we really should stick to our words... should we fail to do so, I think the best thing to do is make up next time.. if it's not yet too late.. heehehe... and that's what I'm trying to do now...

Well, when I started blogging, I promised myself (forgot to whom I also made this promise.. hopefully, I didnt promised this to Jesus.. oh my..tsk3!) that I would share something of an essence, And for me, there is nothing quite of an essence as sharing thoughts from the Bible, things about Jesus and stuffs like those. I am not really a devoted christian.. Due to my work.. and sometimes - laziness ( geez, temptation.. haha), I cant make it a point to go to church regularly. I dont even have a permanent religion..

Well, it's because I dont believe such thing could save you.. Nowadays, most people go to the church just for the sake of going to the church. Some of them dont even know why they were there. Some were just grabbed by their friends or lovers (and there they were showing their affection to each other when they already had a week for those moments thus that time should be the moment to pay God some respect and special affection.. geeez.. ). And such sights are rampant to catholic churches... that's why, even though I was baptized as a Roman Catholic.. I dont go to their church... Ask me some songs sang in a catholic mass and I'll just smile at you with a blank mind.. hahaaha.. :P Oh, but I absolutely know the "Our Father".. ;)

My mother is an adventist so whenever I have time and energy every Saturday, I would tag along for their church service. For me, the church services that the adventist and baptist have are the ones worth the time for worship and praise. Well, I'm not really promoting the religion, it's still up to you. What I'm just trying to say is that, with such religions, you can actually learn something after you have attended the service. Lessons that would make you flip through the pages of your bible or even dare talking to some friends... Well, I believe, it really depends on the believer.. some devoted catholics would also see to it that they can gain something spiritual after the mass... but It's also pertty obvious that more and more people are taking for granted their spiritual being even those who seem to regularly go to church.. Most of them do so but dont even know how to pray or dont even bother praying... Am I right or am I just left?.. hahaah :P

Now, what I'm trying to drive at is... as much as possible.. as much as I can... I'll post something related to Bible stuffs and the like... got so much in mind as I have lots of resources but I seem not to have enough time and energy.. hahaha... God Help me.. ;)

Etch Me Not?!! x_x

Last year, no matter how busy I was, I somehow made it a point to give myself time to either watch anime or read manga. Lots of new titles were introduced to me and I wasnt able to get through some of those due to poor scheduling or time management.. haha... but lucky for me that I was still able to feed my drooling childish nature the anime/manga that I've always loved; although new ones also caught my interests.

Now here are the top/best anime according to my research from various resources and they've gained their ranks as to the frequency of their views and rates. The following anime (in no particluar order) are the top rated, most viewed and popular last year (2008) and some were even considered 'all-time favorites':
  1. Naruto (Naruto Shippuuden)
  2. Death note
  3. full metal alchemist
  4. bleach
  5. dragon ball z
  6. Inuyasha
  7. Rurouni Kenshin (Samurai X)
  8. Cowboy Bebop
  9. Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion (many resources listed this anime on the top of their lists so curiosity aroused me to check it out later.. haha.. seems to be a good one as far as I'm informed.. hehe)
  10. Kanagi
  11. Soul Eater
  12. Claymore
And as for manga, here are the ones which most readers loved to read more often than their own textbooks, manuals and even the newspaper or Bible.. hehe :D

hmmm... most of them were already listed above so just add these up: (haha)

-One piece
-Love Hina
-Fruits Basket
-Chobits
-Berserk
-Monster
and many more :)

The Wallflower Perfect Girl Evolution (Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge) has become my favorite anime this year and the manga "Bitter Virgin" that was introduced to me by a friend really had caught my senses that I even had a hard time sleeping due to too much excitement for the next episodes... hahaha.. Other anime such as "To Love Ru" and many more were also promoted by a friend and it's just so frustrating not to have all the time to sit down and relax and just enjoy the whole day watching anime or movies.. haaayz... I just hope I get to do that one of these days... haha
